The Bombus is America's favorite small air-capable drone! Designed as a caretaker drone, the Bombus has imbedded itself in everyday life. It can watch over the kids by playing hide-and-seek, throw prepaks in the microwave and use its integrated screen to display your face to your children on those difficult 14-hour work days! With its simple and inexpensive design, it has been programmed to do many things. Bombus can be seen zipping around the city all day, delivering packages, sending messages or picking up the groceries.

Rules for this homebrew item

This item is a Mini Air Drone (Core Rulebook p.343). When you buy it, you can choose what option is comes equipped with. This drone can be deployed for 8 hours on a full charge. The drone must be recharged for 12 hours before it can be reused again.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. The Zetatech Bombus comes with a low-capacity AI, that can attempt Skill Checks. This drone has an AI Base Skill of +4. It uses this Base Skill whenever it attempts a Skill Check. It cannot attempt any INT, EMP, COOL or TECH Skill Check.

PROTOCOLS. This drone can understand, interpret and execute simple orders. In addition, this drone has 1 protocol slot. It comes with the following protocol preinstalled:
  • SCAN. This drone can create a 3D map of any 25 m/yds by 25 m/yds area. It can then use the scan to navigate the area expertly. This map can be exported.
