Rules for this homebrew item

This is a baseball used in some Cyber-enhanced baseball leagues. The baseball uses onboard sensors and small jets to correct its flight path to hit where the thrower intends to throw. In CABL, these are typically used to perform feints, to throw off the batter, or to do ball tricks, Someone with Subdermal Grip or Interface Plugs can connect to the baseball and subconsciously program a flight path into it. When thrown, the baseball behaves like Smart Ammunition (p.346), attempting to follow the programmed flight path.

The ball is precisely made to function at its league-approved weights of 150 grams (5.25 ounces). The onboard computer, sensors and jets can still function up if the ball were to be altered, up to a maximum weight of 200 grams (7 ounces). Any alterations that would increase its weight beyond that maximum cause the device's smart features to automatically fail.

Delivering happiness... for the right price!
