How the item submission process works

The best and most interesting submissions I receive will be added to the NetShop over time.

My criteria for submission selection are:

  • Is the item flavorful and interesting?
  • Is the item balanced and are its rules written coherently?
  • Does the submission have typos and rule errors?
  • Does the submission respect the in-universe online shop style of the resource?

If your item is selected, you WILL be credited. Provide a name, and, if you want, a link to your socials or personal website.

You can provide out-of-game text, which will appear on the product page. This could be a message to commemorate your campaign, a shout out to your friends, or the real-world context behind the item’s creation.

I may fix typos or tweak some small elements of your item submission without warning. If it happens, it will be to match the submission to NetShop’s overall art direction.

I will not publish stolen content or AI generated content on my website.

If you wish to submit a full resource of homebrew items, (say, more than like 10 items) PLEASE don’t submit them one at a time on the website. Instead, reach out to me directly via one of the following methods so we can chat:

Setting Expectations

I intend for this to be a fun side project for me, which means that:

  1. I will only publish new items when I have time. I can’t guarantee any regularity.
  2. No money will exchange hands. I don’t expect payment, and won’t pay to have your stuff on there. I just wanna work on my cool website from time to time.
  3. I am not necessarily opposed to bigger additions, such as hosting new homebrew resources, working with homebrew creators, or even taking on occasional commissions. In these cases, reach out to me directly.
